Wibson was more than a data marketplace—it was a statement against the status quo, a decentralized ecosystem built on blockchain and cryptocurrency to redefine data ownership. At its core, Wibson empowered individuals to monetize their personal data securely, transparently, and on their own terms, eliminating the exploitative middlemen of traditional tech giants. The platform’s foundation in smart contracts and decentralized transactions ensured trustless exchanges, where users had complete control over their data while remaining anonymous.

My role at Wibson spanned multiple disciplines, bridging UI/UX design, branding, video production, and marketing strategy to shape the project's identity and digital presence. I designed the mobile app’s user experience, ensuring a seamless and intuitive interface that balanced security, accessibility, and financial empowerment. The website served as a gateway to Wibson’s vision, crafted to educate and onboard users into the decentralized data economy. Through video production, motion graphics, and campaign storytelling, I translated complex blockchain concepts into compelling narratives that resonated with both crypto enthusiasts and everyday users

The Data Thief:
A Cyber-Noir Tale of Data, Power, and Privacy
Wibson’s launch film unravels a cyber-noir descent into data, power, and control. A masked data thief drifts through the city, silently siphoning personal information—until he locks onto an anomaly, a figure whose data remains untouchable. Drawn into the chase, he follows her into the underbelly of the city, where masked figures move in encrypted whispers, unseen and untraceable. Stripped of his power, his form begins to unravel, fading into nothing—a ghost of the system he once controlled, as the balance shifts and control returns to the unseen
Filmed alongside the protocol and app launch, its final scene unfolded at the official Barcelona event, immersing real attendees in its narrative. The project brought together scriptwriting, creative direction, and visual storytelling, realized in collaboration with a local production team. Co-writing, co-directing, and designing the motion graphics for this film was an incredible opportunity to craft a compelling story and push creative boundaries
Wibson on the World Stage: Strategic Campaigns, Global Launch & Data Sovereignty in Action
Beyond visuals, I drove marketing efforts for executing strategic campaigns, global event activations, and social engagement. From guerrilla marketing tactics at major tech summits to data selling pop-up experiences, every initiative aimed to challenge perceptions and ignite conversations about personal data sovereignty. In 2018, I played a key role in Wibson’s global launch tour, presenting the project at conferences across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, introducing the platform to diverse audiences, from blockchain pioneers to everyday users discovering the value of their personal data for the first time. Through live demos, media engagements, and strategic partnerships, I helped establish Wibson’s presence in the Web3 space, ensuring its vision of a fairer data economy wasn’t just an idea—it was something people could experience firsthand.
Designed and produced the Wibcoin, a promotional item for the BCN World Congress 2018, celebrating Wibson’s app launch. The coin blended sleek design with blockchain symbolism, serving as collector’s piece and a way to claim tokens

Refining Wibson: Strengthening the Brand, Message, and User Control
As Wibson evolved, so did its brand. We refined colors, messaging, and design to create a more cohesive identity while staying true to its mission—giving users control over their data. The focus expanded from monetization to broader data ownership and privacy enforcement under GDPR and CCPA.
The Wibson protocol improved with batch payments, solving Ethereum’s scalability issues. The app was redefined to let users see who holds their data, manage access, and take action.
I contributed through design, writing, and UX/UI, shaping an experience that strengthened Wibson’s identity while enhancing user transparency and control.

The new design introduced intuitive navigation and expanded privacy features, allowing users not only to monetize their data but also to track who had access to it and enforce their rights under GDPR and CCPA. Every detail was crafted to create a seamless, secure, and empowering experience, reinforcing Wibson’s mission of giving individuals full control over their personal data.
